The most amazing food in a quintessential village pub. Don't be put off. Everyone is welcome, but most people will know 2 other groups in the pub and will chat and catch up, even if it has only been a week since they were together. It is a small pub and doesn't take much to be busy, so sometimes you will have to wait a while to be served. But you will always be served with a smile and a chat, even if the staff don't know you. Quality over quantity. We love it, and so do our kids. There is also a lovely walking look you can take from the pub. Lacks character from the inside, and is small so minimal facilities, but great location and the quality/friendliness really is incredible. Lots of vege options. Great food and excellent beers. The staff/owners were very welcoming & friendly. Nice choice of roasts, main meals, vegetarian options & deserts. Great local pub atmosphere. We will be back again soon.
